Codes of Conduct for Fleetspeak Forum

  • No Spam / Advertising / Self-promotion in the forum

This forum is to share knowledge and help each other out. Do not spam the chats and subforums with bulk messages at once. Refrain from promoting your product and business in the forum. In case we are found doing the same, we will have to ban your account and delete all your posts.

  • Do not cross-post questions

In case you have a question and want to seek answers or tips from fellow truckers, before posting something on the forum, do check if the question was raised before or not. Even if you post the question again, post it only in one related subforum and not in multiple subforums.

  • Do not post copyright-infringing material

Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is restricted here.

  • Ranting is prohibited.

A rant is a post that is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of information is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of ideas, but rants are disruptive and may stir up flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going above the standard limit.

  • Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images

Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on the forum. This includes user pictures. Read before you post.

  • Do not send personal messages to users asking for help

Do not send private messages to any users asking for help. If you need help, make a new thread with #help in the appropriate forum so that the whole community can help and benefit. We are a community of truckers, we are known for helping each other out.

  • Remain respectful of other members at all times

All posts should be professional and respectful. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.

However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or bully them or the degrading quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to follow the code.

In any case, you are not able to resolve the issue on your own, administrators and moderators are always there to help you out.
